-----------------------------
1. The notes you should play are indicated by the appropriate
letters.
2. No note lengths - just number of times played. You *should*
be able to figure out when and how long notes are played. They
do this in guitar tabs, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem.
3. Sharps are indicated by a "+", flats by a "-".
4. Octaves - To indicate octaves, I use numbers. 1 refers to
the lowest octave of a note, 2 the next, 3 and so on. So, super
low f sharp (fingered 123) would be +f1.
5. A short set of notes surrounded by parentheses, followed by
a "*" and a number means to play that phrase that number of times.
Here is the basics for the ska verses:
(El Hefe changes each a little, but you
should be able to figure it out.)
--------------------------------------
b1 -e1 b2 +g2
+f2 +g2 +g2 +g2 +f2 +g2 +f2 e1 +d1
-e1 +f2 b2 -b2
+f2 +g2 +g2 +g2 +f2 +g2 +f2 e1 +d1
Chorus
------
b2 +c2 +d2 +d2 +c2
-b2 +c2 +d2 +d2 +c2
b2 +c2 +d2 +d2
+d2 e2 +d2 +c2 b2 -b2
Fast Verse
(It is the same as the other
verses except for the start
of the second line where +g2
is played twice instaed of
+f2 +g2)
----------------------------
b1 -e1 b2 +g2
+g2 +g2 +f1 +g2 +f2 e1 +d1
Play chorus, last two notes are: b3 c3
Hope this is good enough!
