This is my first tab, so please forgive me if you feel like something is wrong.

*Thanks to moritzryan for corrections on some early mistakes in the first draft of this tab.

If you listen to the

If you listen to the beginning you will hear the quick almost grace note pickup into the C#. And as for the same note at different dynamics it's not. You can clearly hear the minor third and if you don't believe me you can watch the video and see the trombone slide move. This video proves both of my statements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qdAybEvze4

Wow, you're completely right, I've watched this video countless time before, and had never noticed the trombone sliding between notes in the main melody. Thanks for the help, I'll be sure to adjust the tab, along with how I play the song itself :]

Mistakes

You did a pretty decent job for your first time doing tabs but there are some mistakes. To start off at the beginning of the song it's F# F# A B then F# F# A B B B A if you're writing the trombone part if you're writing the trumpet it's G# G# B C# then G# G# B C# C# C# B.
Then the second part is A F# A F# A F# E F# F# E F#. A F# A F# A F# ~F# F# A A A F#. A F# A F# A F# E F# F# E F#. A F# A F# A F# B C# C# C# C#. Those are the trombone for trumpet just take up a M2.

Haha no, the beginning is right, it follows the guitar strumming. And I'm pretty sure the melody is nearly right, I don't think you play it like that, it sounds like one note being played, but at different dynamic levels. But, then again I may be wrong, thanks for the comment Smile
