Writing a Song

Anyone want to help me right a ska song? I'm pretty terrible and have had no type of theory lessons or anything. I need help writing lyrics and parts. I will perform it with my band, Brass Narwhal, but you will get credit for the parts that you help with. I kind of want it to be more like a Streetlight Manifesto song.
