I've recently discovered ska and thought it would be cool to try and actually play some of my favorite songs. This site seemed perfect, although there is one little problem. I'm used to reading sheet music( I play in my school's jazz band), so when I saw the "convert to sheet music" option I thought that's what I was looking for. Only thing is, the music is sort of "broken up" I guess you could say, and it's all quarter notes. Any advice?

the reason why people use

the reason why people use tabs is coz they either cant read sheet music or the cant be bothered to figure out the note values...
thats the thing about tabs: noone cares about note values...
you cant play a tab if youve never heard the song before...
so just listen to the song and play along...
if you cant play without sheets then you'll have to write it down yourself...you could use the convert function to copy the notes and write them down with the correct note values...which is quite a lot of work...

the best solution probably is to write the sheets with ABC Plus...that way you can simply copy the tabs and add the values...
