Um, probably kind of a dumb question, but are the tabs here mostly in the right key (like would I have to transpose any of them to get the specific notes on the album)? Like, would an Eb instrument part and a Bb instrument part for the same song sound/harmonize the way on the album, or would there be more transposing to do? Thanks.
To answer your question, If it is under alto or bari sax you should play what is there becasue those are the notes for alto or bari sax? if you play a Bb trumpet or tenor part on an Eb instrument then it will sound wrong, sometimes it wont sound bad just because they are a 5th/4th apart but it would still not be the rite thing, most of these are in the rite key, some arnt becuase some people dont check tabs before the post them up but a lot of them are pretty good. If its under Alto or bari its probably going to be in Eb and Bb for trumpet or tenor.
