Any recommendations for a beginner?

I am relatively new to trumpet, still trying to get my C scale down haha
but once I have done that am eager to learn songs
Can anyone give me any recommendations for easy songs for beginners?

Some advice to your problem

I suggest to start playing some Big D. Some of their stuff isn't too hard, but it'll help build up the chops. Also, S.R. and Trendy (both by Reel Big Fish) are good chop builders. Hope this helps

I recommend a non-song. LIP SLURS. They are the god of range improvement! Smile Song-wise, yeah, Big D is pretty laid back for horns and you could try playing Reel Big Fish songs an octave down. I play trombone but I know that bands like Streetlight aren't exactly where to start, haha. See: The Blonde Lead the Blind
