HARMONIC MINOR SCALES:
A note about these minor scales. These are HARMONIC minor scales. That means you use the same key signature as the major scale 3 SEMITONES ABOVE the first note of the scale, but RAISE THE SEVENTH NOTE BY ONE SEMITONE on the way up AND on the way down. To make these into MELODIC minor scales keep them the way they are but also RAISE THE SIXTH NOTE by a semitone on the way UP, BUT return the sixth AND seventh notes to their diatonic state (the way they appear in the key signature) on the way down.
