Yea, it's called the Yamaha Silent Brass. It's pretty much a mute with a little mic inside that connects to a little box that has a headphone jack.

The system is great as it blocks about 90% of the sound from coming out. However, it's only drawback thus far is the back pressure.

It'll cost you around 175 US, but if you need it, then it's well worth it.

Whats up my hommies? (Kidding).

Yup, I got one of these yesterday. It is very cool. Like Marty said, it doesn't silence the trumpet , but if you play in a room and shut the door, anyone on the other side would really have to strain to hear you. In other words, its pretty quiet.

The back pressure isn't really much of a problem. I would say that its about the same as a straight mute. The sound is a bit tinny but its got an echo switch that creates a more open sound.

Also, it has an auxillary port so that (with the right cable) you can plug in a stereo, CD player, Mp3 player/ipod and play along with it. I find that very useful because usually I need to turn my stereo up quite loud if I'm playing with a CD but if its in my ears, my own trumpet sound isn't as overpowering.

But the next thing I wanna get is an ST5 digital effects system. Here's the link for more info:

I think the retail on an ST5 is 205 Pounds/$380 US/around $500 AUD but online I've seen them for around 170 Pounds.

If you don't have that much money, you can buy a Peacemaker. I have one for when I'm at college (dorm people would get irritated with a trumpet playing all the time). If I recall, they were only around $40 in the U.S. Probably only a little more if it was sent over-seas. It works really well for what it is. It mutes it considerably, even if you're playing fff. It comes with headphones which work fairly well. You can still hear yourself playing, but the volume is really low. If you don't want to spend as much, consider the Peacemaker.
