Here are the trombonists of some of my favorite third wave ska bands. Some are ok, some are good, some are fantastic. None I can think of that really suck, as trombone is one of the hardest horns to learn. Gerry Lundquist - Skankin' Pickle, MU330 Lars Nylander - Skankin' Pickle (plays valve trombone!) Todd Painter, Matt Kwiatkowski - The Urge Dennis Culp - Five Iron Frenzy Dan Spencer - O.C. Supertones Travis Larson - The Dingees Mike Rowland, Sang Kim - The Insyderz Buddy Schaub - Less Than Jake Pete Anna - Slapstick, Less Than Jake (plays alto trombone!) Dennis Brockenborough - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Chris Rhodes - Spring Heeled Jack USA, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Gabe McNair - No Doubt Dan Regan, Grant Barry - Reel Big Fish what do you think of these guys? do you have a favorite or favorites from this list? |
